What I'm doing now - May 2026

Back in Europe

After three months of working in South Africa, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe, I am back in Austria.

In Zimbabwe, we met with a human rights activist to help exchange BTC for cash. We produced a video about our work and the impact of Bitcoin education in Mozambique.

A lot of things have been happening in the background. Our non-profit initiative involves a lot of administrative and fundraising tasks. The upside of all these behind-the-scenes hours is that BFF now has a structure in place that lets it accept donations from Americans through a 501(c)(3) entity. If you want to support the mission of Bitcoin for Fairness please feel free to donate.

Over the past weeks I spent many hours learning how to use AI tools efficiently so that they reduce my workload in the long run. I did not manage to start updating my book as I had planned for April. It's still on my to-do list.

May and June will be full of traveling, as I am visiting the Lightning Summit in Tuscany to learn about new developments in Layer 2 technologies, as well as attending the Oslo Freedom Forum and AOS Convergence conference in Norway. On May 27 I will speak at BTC++ in Vienna.
